Everything I touch breaks! - Pauly's touch causes things to temporarily stop working. A few moments after he releases an item that has stopped working, it will return to working order.

1. Anything Pauly touches that is mechanical or electronic in nature stops working while he is touching it or within a few inches of it. He cannot control this. Things with simpler mechanics like scissors, doors, and yoyos aren't really effected. Things like remote controls, fishing rods, and wind up toys, however, are fair game. Larger items (cars, generators, etc) are hit and miss. Sometimes they stop working and sometimes they don't.

2. Pauly is gaining some control over his power, able to keep some of the simpler things that would stop working from malfunctioning.

3. Pauly is now able to control his power to the point that things won't stop working unless he wants them to. He no longer has accidents, but his powers can no longer effect larger items such as vehicles while he is trying to do it on purpose.

4. Pauly's power has grown so that he can cause the overly simple items that he didn't previously effect to stop working. Touching a hinge on a door can jam it up for a short period of time. It also works for when he doesn't want to share scissors or ink pens with people, making them temporarily inoperable at his will.

5. Pauly can now temporarily disable larger items, like engines, cranes, and breaker boxes to buildings, at will. He can cause a vehicle to breakdown no problem.

Personality: Pauly is a good natured guy, though he has a little lying habit that makes most people peg him as a snake. This, coupled with his "I'm right, you're wrong" attitude makes him come off as a total sleaze. However, it's not that he's necessarily a bad person, but more that he wants to impress others, and as much as it's blown up in his face, Pauly is convinced that if he keeps making everything up, people will eventually come to respect him. The more he wants to impress a person, the more lies spill from his mouth. When his stories make no sense, that's how you know he likes you, and he's so used to people not liking him, that he gets flustered when someone actually shows interest in him. Like any other kid, he just wants to make friends. He's legitimately interested in the camp activities, as he's never spent much time outside unless it was in an alleyway with his few pals. He's also fairly witty, but that's a quality that tends to get overlooked because of his bad traits.

Deadly Flaw: Always Right- Pauly has a weird need to always be right. If someone combats him, he'll go out of his way to prove them wrong, even if he's the one that's wrong or it means doing something incredibly dumb.

Background: Paul was originally unsure about having a child, especially since Pauly had just been dumped on him by Eris after an affair he'd had with the Goddess. However, Paul grew to really care for his son, even with all his oddities because of his heritage. His dad got him everything he wanted within financial reason, though he tended to avoid anything that required user control. Everything Pauly touched that had some kind of mechanical or electronic inner-workings tended to cease operation as long as he was the one handling it. Paul ended up hiring a nanny specifically for the purpose of changing TV channels and cooking for Pauly so he wouldn't be bored at home with nothing to do or going hungry while his father was at work. Pauly tended to get picked on for not having the latest phone or video game, but it didn't bug him that much. He still had a few friends, mostly the poor kids who also didn't have those things.

Pauly never knew he was a demigod, but he definitely knew he was different. After all, how many kids broke everything they touched? (Don't answer that.) It wasn't until Pauly went snooping through his father's things one day that he learned the truth about who he was, finding a letter addressed to Eris that never got sent. Pauly harassed his father for more information. His knew-found knowledge, however, caused him to become noticed by some of the monsters in the area. Because Pauly was the son of a minor Goddess, it didn't start out to terribly rough. Stymphalian birds posing as your standard, dirty city pigeons were barely able to catch his scent because his mother was only a minor Goddess. Thinking he was being harassed by hungry pigeons, Pauly would run home and immediately shut and lock the windows. Finally one day, what Pauly thought was about to be a standard mugging ended up being an attack from a Scythian Dracanae. With no weapon and no one to save him, Pauly managed to escape past the snake woman and head into the streets. He ran into traffic, narrowly avoiding some of the oncoming cars and accidentily bumping into one or two while the Scythian Dracanae trying to pursue him was slowed down by the vehicles running into her. Making it home that evening, he started telling the story to his father immediately, of course adding a few self-written dramatics here and there. Pauly was given only a few moments to pack before his father rushed him to Half-Blood Hill.

Other Info:
-Pauly grew up in the nicer part of Long Island.
-Pauly is a chronic liar. Almost everything that passes his lips is false.
-Because he tells so many lies, he often forgets what's true and what's not. His stories aren't very consistent because of this.
-His father is a crooked banker, embezzling and laundering money for the mob even though he's not necessarily in the mafia. He refers to himself as an Associate.
-Pauly thinks the mafia life looks glamorous and fun and strives to join one day.
-Ironically he doesn't know of his father's ties.
-He can ride in cars as long as he sits in the back seat away from all the mechanics of the vehicle.
-The watch on his wrist is a fake Rolex that doesn't work.
